Our watermelons are grown in fruit gardens under irrigation, a drop irrigation is organized for the plants. The sort on the picture is Crimson. This watermelon is spherical, weighs 5-8 kgs, light green with dark meridian stripes. It is strong, easy to transport on far distances, quality sort, resistant to antraknoza. The flesh is carminred, very tasty, soft. The seeds are small, brown coloured with black points. This is the most common sort in Bulgaria.
